1. Beginner guide: how to play

Paint and Seek is a multiplayer hide-and-seek game by Blend In Or Die / Ikitai Studios. Each round, players split into two camps:

• Hiders: during prep time, they paint themselves the color of the scenery to blend into walls, floors and objects. Their goal: survive until time runs out.
• The seeker: must find all the hiders before the round ends.

The game is fast, clever and competitive: everything comes down to the quality of your camouflage (as a hider) and your ability to spot the odd one out in the scenery (as a seeker). The Coins you earn unlock traits, perks and skins.

2. Hide like a pro (hider)

Good camouflage rests on three pillars: color, shape and spot.

This is the golden rule. Point the eyedropper directly at the surface you'll hide against, not a wall that "looks similar" across the room. Shades vary with lighting and texture: sampling the exact color of the right spot makes you nearly invisible. It's the #1 beginner mistake.

Break up your outline

The right color isn't enough: on a flat wall, you remain a recognizable human shape. Place yourself where your outline is hard to read — in a corner, against a cluttered object, mixed in with furniture. That way you become part of the scenery.

Timing

• Paint early: use all of your prep time, before the seeker arrives. Getting caught mid-paint means getting spotted.
• Reposition: change spots before your position becomes obvious. Staying still too long always gives you away eventually.

3. Seek effectively (seeker)

As a seeker, your goal is to flush out all hiders before time runs out. Here's how to be deadly:

• Grab detection perks: they're the most useful for spotting well-camouflaged hiders and scanning faster (see Coins section).
• Spot "almost-right" colors: a hider who sampled the wrong shade subtly stands out. Train your eye to catch those gaps.
• Look for human outlines: even well-painted, a hider on a flat surface keeps a recognizable shape. Scan the contours.
• Scan methodically: clear zones one by one rather than running around. Static hiders eventually fall.

4. Coins, traits & perks

Coins are the main currency of Paint and Seek. You earn them slowly in matches (or quickly with codes), and spend them on:

• Traits (via gacha): bonuses unlocked randomly.
• Perks: notably detection perks for the seeker — the most rewarding buy.
• Legendary weapon skins for the seeker, character cosmetics, paint effects and prop skins.

5. Paint and Seek codes

Good news: Paint and Seek has real active codes that grant free Coins. In June 2026: LIKES7K (900 Coins), 5MILVISITS (1,100 Coins), THANKYOU5K (700 Coins) and 6KTHANKYOU (800 Coins).

1. Join the Ikitai Studios Roblox group and like the game (required for codes to work).
2. Launch the game, click the Settings (gear) icon on the left of the screen.
3. Paste the code exactly, then click CLAIM: Coins are credited.

6. Maps & repositioning

Paint and Seek has no character tier list: it's the maps that vary in difficulty (some are easier for hiders, others harder for the seeker to scan). Knowing the maps gives you an edge on both sides:

• As a hider: spot cluttered corners, objects that break up your outline, and surfaces with easy-to-match colors.
• As a seeker: learn favorite hiding spots and blind angles to scan efficiently.
• Repositioning: on open maps, change spots regularly; on dense maps, use the clutter to blend in.

7. Mistakes to avoid

• Eyedropper on the wrong surface: sampling an "approximate" color gives you away instantly. Aim at the exact surface.
• Painting too late: getting caught mid-paint = spotted. Paint early.
• Staying still all round: a static hider always falls eventually. Reposition.
• Sitting on a flat wall: even well-painted, your outline stands out. Pick a spot that breaks up your shape.
• Spending everything on skins: prioritize useful perks, especially as a seeker.
• Forgetting to join the group: without it, codes won't work.
